Travel Tips - What To Bring On Your Holiday - Sometimes when we are going for a holiday, we want to bring many things just in case we miss the comfort of our own home. However, we then realize that not everything that we have in our suitcase is important or useful. Here are some tips on what to bring on your holiday: Singapore Travel

Clothing, toiletries and make up - The first thing that you should put in your suitcase is definitely your clothes. You should know how long you are going and what kind of activities you are going to do. Knowing these will help you to consider which clothes are important to bring and which are not. Next, you have to prepare your toiletries like soap, shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste. Many hotels provide you with those. However, if you think that you will be much more comfortable with your own things, it is always a good idea to bring your own toiletries. Then, if you want to look good during your holiday, you can also bring your make up. But remember, you are not going to a party, so just bring as much as you need.

Medicine - Although you might not expect to fall sick during your trip, it is best to be safe than sorry. Bring some medicines with you, especially if you are allergic to something. Also bring medicine that might help you in case of food poisoning. Food poisoning is a common illness of travelers, especially if you travel to developing or underdeveloped countries.

Guide book, map, and umbrella - Guide books and maps are especially handy for first time travelers. If you are going to some place that you are not familiar with, you can always consult your travel guide book. That way, you can avoid being overcharged by locals, especially by taxi drivers and restaurants. Another thing that you must have with you at all times is an umbrella. Bring a folding umbrella with you where ever you go in case it rains.

Small bag or backpack - If you are going to do a lot of walking, it is better for you to bring a small bag or a backpack. You can bring your camera, guide book, map, water, etc in your bag and still have the freedom of movement. But do not put all your valuable items in that bag. Some backpackers often wear fanny packs around their waists and put their passport, tickets, and money in them. It is the ideal holiday gear if there are many pickpockets in your holiday destination.
